Andrew Zuker was born in a small town in mid-Michigan in a region still paying the high costs of post-industrialism. Growing up, he worked in the office of the family business but was also given time, support, and encouragement to study music and the arts.
A life long news junkie, Zuker sold his small moving and storage business in 2021 and began anew as a freshman at the Reynolds School of Journalism at University of Nevada, Reno.
In 2022 he declared a dual major in Spanish within the Media Track. In the spring of 2023 Zuker was honored with the Edward W. Scripps II Scholarship. That summer he studied International Reporting and Spanish at Universidad Andrés Bello in Santiago, Chile.
Zuker lives in Reno, Nevada with his wife and children.
